What if I need help?
Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:

Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT
Step 3. If our technical support cannot resolve your issue you will be entitled to our Money Back Guarantee and we will help you find a local option for the rest of your trip
How can I make calls & texts?
This SIM does not come with calls or texts. However, you can use your data to make calls and texts.
We highly recommend using data applications as a smart alternative.
How do I check my balance?
There is no way to check your balance with this SIM card. However, you can monitor your usage with your mobile device. Instructions on how to do this are included in your PDF SIM guide.
If you are wanting to call internationally:
We recommend using Skype. You can purchase credit and use it to make international calls to any number in the world at very affordable rates that are much cheaper than international call rates. $10 will get you roughly 250 minutes worth of international calls. It's just like using your mobile but it uses internet data to make the call. Very handy! Works for landlines and mobile numbers.

No recharges?

How do I find my new number?
You can find your mobile number when the SIM is inserted & active by going to your contacts and finding: My Number.
Is this enough data for me?
6GB of data over 15 days is suitable for web browsing, Google maps, emails, social media and data messaging.
If you are planning on streaming videos or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.

So easy to use, this 'data only' sim product met all of our internet connection needs whilst recently touring in Egypt and also at Dubai airport. The sim was in my own phone, meaning I could use Whatsapp or similar to globally 'phone' others. (As could my wife with her phone.) I connected my Laptop to the phone using USB Tethering, and my wife connected her phone and her Tablet to my phone using "Mobile Hotspot Bluetooth Tethering". Just the one sim needed between the two of us. All worked fine throughout the Cairo, Giza, Luxor and Aswan locations in Egypt that we visited, including our cruise days on the Nile. This sim card was ideal for any one visiting multiple middle eastern countries in a short period of time - ie via a cruise. It worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Oman on my trip but obviously does other countries as well.Only downside was the inability to recharge. You can of course buys sims locally in these places as we did in Oman for our longer stay but for the other destinations where our stay was only 1 or 2 days this Sims Direct card was ideal as we did not want to stuff around buying a local sim in each place for such a short stay
