Will this SIM work in my device?
The best type of phone to use is an unlocked GSM phone that supports one or more of the following frequencies:

 

  • 1700/2100 MHz (3G / 4G or LTE depending on location)
  • 1900 MHz (2G or 3G / 4G depending on location)
  • 850 MHz (2G)

    So easy

    So glad I found this website. My teenage daughter was travelling to USA on her own, so it was important to me that she was connected and set up with data as soon as she arrived. SIM arrived in the mail a few days after it was ordered. It was easy for my daughter to swap SIM and get started as soon as she landed in USA. Highly recommend.

    How do I activate?

    Step 1 Land in USA

    Step 2 Insert SIM card

    Step 3 Turn on 'Data Roaming' in your mobile/network settings.

    Step 4 Text GOGO to 6700

    You should connect within 5 minutes and you are all set. Happy travels!

    What if I need help?

    Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.


    If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:


    Step 1. Ensure you have followed all steps in your SIMs digital PDF guide.


    Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT.

    How can I make calls & texts?

    If you want to call or text home you have unlimited calls/texts available to use in 30 days in United States. 

    Simply dial: Country Code -> Area Code -> Mobile Number

    For example: If you wish to dial 0431166871

    You would enter +61431166871

    For local calls & texts: Simply enter the local number and you are all set.

     

    How do I check my balance?

    Simply text DATA to 6700

    No recharges?

    This SIM card cannot be recharged as it is a one-time use SIM.


    If you need more data or a longer duration you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go.

    How do I find my new number?

    Your new US mobile number will be texted to you after activation in the US.

    Is this enough data for me?

    5GB of data over 30 days is suitable for most travellers needs.


    If you are planning on streaming videos frequently or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.
