Great experience with one negative

My experience was great, the sim was easy to use and set-up, the data worked really well, I had great coverage, the customer service was super quick to answer one of my questions re usage. Overall I was super happy I bought it. I however would have liked the access to last more than 12 days as I was away for 18 and still had some data left when I reached the 12 days. I don't think the sim should expire if you still have some data left on it... Otherwise great product!

How do I activate?

Step 1 Land in one of the countries listed

Step 2 Insert SIM card

Step 3 Turn on 'Data Roaming' in your mobile/network settings.

Step 4 Restart your device

You should connect within 5 minutes and you are all set. Happy travels!

What if I need help?

Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.


If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:


Step 1. Ensure you have followed all steps in your SIMs digital PDF guide.


Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT.

How can I make calls & texts?

This SIM does not come with calls or texts. However, you can use your data to make calls and texts.


We highly recommend using data applications as a smart alternative.


If you are wanting to call internationally:


We recommend using Skype. You can purchase credit and use it to make international calls to any number in the world at very affordable rates that are much cheaper than international call rates. $10 will get you roughly 250 minutes worth of international calls.


It's just like using your mobile but it uses internet data to make the call. Very handy! Works for landlines and mobile numbers.


If you are wanting to call and text mobile numbers internationally for free.


We recommend using any of the following free apps.

Skype


All of these apps are handy to use while travelling.

How do I check my balance?

Simply dial *118*#50

No recharges?

This SIM is not rechargeable as it is a one-time use product.


If you need more data or a longer duration you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go.

How do I find my new number?

You can find your mobile number when the SIM is inserted & active by going to your contacts and finding: My Number.

Is this enough data for me?

4GB of data over 12 days is suitable for web browsing, google maps, emails, social media and data messaging.


If you are planning on streaming videos or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.
