Activating your Travel SIM Card
Your Europe Travel SIM Card will automatically activate based on the "Activation Date" you provide before checkout. If you buy multiple SIM cards, you'll need to add in the "Activation Date" for each SIM.

If you’re unsure about your Activation Dates, you can add in estimated date/s for your SIMs. Your SIM card’s data & validity will not start until you plug it into your phone. If you need to change your Activation Dates, reach out to us via email at hello@simsdirect.com.au  or via our live chat!

If you are apart of the Australia Post Express Network we can get your order to you the next business day if you order before 12PM AEST with express postage.

How do I use my SIM?
Your SIM will be active from the Activation Date that you choose when placing your order. To start using your SIM:
Step 1. Land in one of the countries listed
Step 2. Insert SIM card
Step 3. Turn on 'Data Roaming' in your mobile/network settings
Step 4. Restart your device
You will receive a text letting you know that your SIM is activated and you are all set. Happy travels!

What if I need help?

Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:
Step 1. Ensure you have followed all steps in your SIMs digital PDF guide.
Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT
Step 3. If our technical support cannot resolve your issue you will be entitled to our Money Back Guarantee and we will help you find a local option for the rest of your trip.

No recharges?

This SIM cannot be recharged.

If you need more data or longer duration, you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go. If you want more than 1 SIM card, you can checkout with the code: MULTISIM10 for 10% off your order.

Will I get a new number?

Unfortunately, this SIM is data-only and therefore you will not get a new number or be able to make phone calls. We recommend you use data apps like Whatsapp, Facetime, Skype, or Viber to make calls and texts to your family and friends. 


Will my SIM work across all of Europe?

Our Europe SIMs work across 44 countries, which you can see listed here. Like your local SIM back home, the exact reach of the SIM depends on the local network coverage. We make sure we source our products from the biggest and best Telcos available to get you guys the best deals possible, but if you’re in a remote location, there might not be any nearby towers for reception.

If you’re concerned about not having reception in a particular location, it’s best to enquire with O2 about their exact reach. 

Needless to say - the SIM will not work if you're in a country that isn't listed!
