Activating your Travel SIM Card
Registering your SIM card activation date is quick and easy. Just follow these simple steps:
- Find the link on the back of your SIM card packaging or use the QR code to access our activation portal.
- Enter your order number and email address.
- Enter the "Activation Number" found on the back of your SIM packaging.
- Select the activation date for each SIM card you've ordered. Please note that your SIM will not work unless you provide us with your activation dates.
That's it! Once you register your activation date, please make sure you download your SIM guide which has further activation instructions for when you land. Your SIM guide can be downloaded from the portal and sent to your email.
If you’re unsure about your Activation Dates, you can add in estimated date/s for your SIMs. Your SIM card’s data & validity will not start until you plug it into your phone.
If you need to change your Activation Dates, you can log back into the portal and edit the date. You'll receive an email with your new dates on it!

Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:
Step 1. Ensure you have followed all steps in your SIMs digital PDF guide.
Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at email@example.com. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT
Step 3. If our technical support cannot resolve your issue you will be entitled to our Money Back Guarantee and we will help you find a local option for the rest of your trip.
How can I make calls & texts?
To dial a European number, simply dial: Country code -> Mobile number
For example: If you wanted to dial the UK number 0712345678;
You would dial +44712345678.
To find the right country code, simply Google: 'country codes'
You can keep track of your usage by registering a 'My3' account with ThreeUK. Instructions are included in your PDF guide.
This SIM can only be recharged in the UK or with a UK credit card.

How do I find my new number?
You can find your mobile number when the SIM is inserted & active by going to your contacts and finding: My Number.
10GB of data over 30 days is HEAPS of data.
If you are planning on streaming videos frequently or downloading large files, then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.
Will my SIM work across all of Europe?
Our Europe SIMs work across 71 countries, which you can see listed here. Like your local SIM back home, the exact reach of the SIM depends on the local network coverage. We make sure we source our products from the biggest and best Telcos available to get you guys the best deals possible, but if you’re in a remote location, there might not be any nearby towers for reception.
If you’re concerned about not having reception in a particular location, it’s best to enquire with 3 UK about their exact reach.
Needless to say - the SIM will not work if you're in a country that isn't listed!
Can I use a UK SIM card in Europe?
Yes you can! Our SIM is from 3 UK, but allows you to roam freely between the 71 countries listed. This happens automatically as you cross over borders, and means you don't need to go through the hassle of buying new SIMs in each country.
With this SIM, if you're in the UK, you can text and call other UK numbers only.
If you’re in one of the other 70 European countries the SIM works in, you can text and make calls to any European or UK number - you'll just need to use the relevant country codes!
If someone calls you, they'll need to use the UK country code of +44.
