What if I need help?
Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:

Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT
Step 3. If our technical support cannot resolve your issue you will be entitled to our Money Back Guarantee and we will help you find a local option for the rest of your trip
How can I make calls & texts?
This SIM does not come with calls or texts. However, you can use your data to make calls and texts.
We highly recommend using data applications as a smart alternative.
If you are wanting to call internationally:
We recommend using Skype. You can purchase credit and use it to make international calls to any number in the world at very affordable rates that are much cheaper than international call rates. $10 will get you roughly 250 minutes worth of international calls. It's just like using your mobile but it uses internet data to make the call. Very handy! Works for landlines and mobile numbers.

No recharges?
If you need more data or a longer duration, you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go.
How do I find my new number?
You can find your mobile number when the SIM is inserted & active by going to your contacts and finding: My Number.
Is this enough data for me?
15GB of data over 30 days is more than enough for web browsing, Google maps, emails, social media and data messaging.
If you are planning on streaming videos or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.

It was great - in our 3.5 weeks in Thailand we never once didn't have a signal - I have no complaints whatsoever. It was very easy to set up and use too. I bought 2x sim cards, I for me and 1 for my husband with no call-time but with 15gb of data on each one, and as it stated we were able to call each other as well which was very handy! We will definitely use them again. We actually bought one for our Europe trip which got cancelled (thanks to covid happening) but it has expired, so we will be looking to get some when we do finally get to do that trip again since they worked so well in Thailand!

Having an embedded eSim on the phone allowed the best of both worlds. Setup instructions were easy to follow but found I had to turn off automatic network selection (when more than one was offered) and manually choose a network that worked.
