What if I need help?
Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:

How can I make calls & texts?
This SIM does not come with calls or texts. However, you can use your data to make calls and texts.
We highly recommend using data applications as a smart alternative.
If you are wanting to call internationally:
We recommend using Skype. You can purchase credit and use it to make international calls to any number in the world at very affordable rates that are much cheaper than international call rates. $10 will get you roughly 250 minutes worth of international calls. It's just like using your mobile but it uses internet data to make the call. Very handy! Works for landlines and mobile numbers.

How do I check my balance?
You can keep track of your usage by registering a ‘My3’ account with ThreeUK.

No recharges?
This SIM can only be recharged in the UK or with a UK credit card.
If you need more data or a longer duration you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go.
How do I find my new number?
Your new UK mobile number is printed on the back of the SIM packaging.
Is this enough data for me?
12GB of data over 30 days is HEAPS of data.
If you are planning on streaming videos or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.

Some areas, access to the network wasn't strong but it worked well when it counted. Especially for Google Maps!

Mostly it worked well...activation took only a few minutes once SIM installed (done on plane just before arrival) and phone turned on when exiting the plane, on arrival. Worked better in some cities/towns than others, but I think that's more to do with the main service providers in Brazil (Claro, Tim, Vivo).I found it was better to manually select the provider, for each different location, as when using 'auto' select it would sometimes connect to TIM which didn't work well in that particularly city I found Claro worked best, in the 'north' anyway (Santarem, Manaus, Porto Seguro, Brasilia...I think I used Tim in Sao Paulo) .Delivery of SIM after purchase was really quick, didn't have to use their Customer Support at all.I was travelling for 5 weeks so had to buy 2 SIM's at 30 days each...only used a fraction of the data allowance (used wifi at hotels etc. where available).So...would definitely buy another when/if I go back to Brazil (or probably elsewhere O/S where it is not so easy to buy a local travel/tourist SIM)
