How do I activate?
Step 1. Land in one of the countries listed
Step 2. Insert SIM card
Step 3. Turn on 'Data Roaming' in your mobile/network settings
Step 4. Restart your device

What if I need help?
Our SIMs generally have no issues, however, nothing is a guarantee. Sometimes SIMs have technical issues that need troubleshooting.
If you land and your SIM does not work as expected then you need to follow these steps:
Step 1. Ensure you have followed all steps in your SIMs digital PDF guide.
Step 2. Reach out to us for support via Facebook live chat or email us at hello@simsdirect.com.au. We are active between 10am - 6pm AEDT

How can I make calls & texts?
This SIM does not come with calls or texts. However, you can use your data to make calls and texts.
We highly recommend using data applications as a smart alternative.
If you are wanting to call internationally:
We recommend using Skype. You can purchase credit and use it to make international calls to any number in the world at very affordable rates that are much cheaper than international call rates. $10 will get you roughly 250 minutes worth of international calls. It's just like using your mobile but it uses internet data to make the call. Very handy! Works for landlines and mobile numbers.

No recharges?
If you need more data or a longer duration, you will need to purchase multiple SIM cards and swap them out as you go.
How do I find my new number?
You can find your mobile number when the SIM is inserted & active by going to your contacts and finding: My Number.
Is this enough data for me?
10GB of data over 30 days is more than enough for web browsing, Google maps, emails, social media and data messaging.
If you are planning on streaming videos or downloading large files then you may want to grab a second SIM card for more data.

I believe I did not get the full 288 hours (24 × 12 days).Some messages from the SIM card which were totally in some Chinese language which I could not read.Other than these, the SIM card worked well as expected.

It worked fine, though the lack of a number (ie no calls, no text) is jarring at first. But it is a data sim, probably just needs to highlighted a little more.On the plus side, Thailand was not one of the listed countries but when I crossed into Thailand from Cambodia, it continued to work.
